Hello fellow students! 🎓
Over the last semester, amidst caffeine overdoses and late-night study sessions, I've made it my mission to test out hundreds of Chrome extensions claiming to be the "ultimate" tool for us students. The goal? To sift through the noise and truly identify the best of the best. So, after countless hours, here's my top 10 list, ranked and reviewed.

1. Coursology Game Changing AI  🏆

Throughout the semester, Coursology consistently stood out as a game-changer for me. Whenever I faced challenges on assignments (which was a lot) across various learning platforms like Canvas and Blackboard, Coursology swiftly delivered pinpoint accurate solutions. Its ability to instantly decode and solve quizzes and homework across these educational platforms made it an indispensable tool in my academic toolkit. Not only is there a chrome extension but they now have a mobile app that i’ve tried!

Key Points

  • Instant, Accurate Answers. It averaged a 93% accuracy over the 1,540 multiple choice questions I answered with it (Yea, I used it for a lot of assignments).

  • A supercharge feature that gives personalized answers based off the course material you give to it: notes, class lecture presentations, textbooks, etc.

  • They offer a free version to try it out.

2. Grammarly The Editor-In-Chief

Grammarly became my go-to companion for every essay and written assignment. The magic lay in its capacity to not just correct spelling and grammar, but to also refine my word choices and sentence structures. Moreover, its plagiarism checker in the premium version ensured that all my submissions were original and authentic.

Key Points

  • Errors were a thing of the past. With on-the-fly corrections, my essays started landing those elusive A's.

  • Plus, with the premium version, I dodged more than one plagiarism pitfall.

3.Todoist Ultimate Organizer

Balancing multiple projects and deadlines was never easier than with Todoist. The platform's centralization of all my tasks and its integration with Google Calendar kept me organized and ahead of my schedule. The added 'Karma' system made task completion even more rewarding.

  • My life went from chaos to composed, all thanks to this nifty task manager.

  • And the 'Karma' system? It made ticking off tasks oh-so satisfying.

4. Dualless Multitask Master

Online classes were made significantly smoother using Dualless. It allowed me to split my browser window, enabling simultaneous note-taking while watching lectures. The customizable screen ratios catered perfectly to my multitasking needs.

  • No need for fancy setups. This extension split my screen seamlessly, making multitasking during lectures a breeze.

5. Noisli Focus Fosterer

With Noisli, finding the perfect study environment was just a click away. Whether I needed the calming ambiance of rainfall or the bustling energy of a café, Noisli had me covered. The built-in timer also became crucial during intense study sessions.

  • Ambient sounds became my study partner, drowning out distractions.

  • And the timer? Pomodoro studying became my secret weapon.

6. Mercury Reader Clarity King

Distraction-free reading became possible with Mercury Reader. It stripped away unnecessary ads and widgets, leaving behind clean, readable content. Customizing the reading interface to my preference, be it text size or theme, made research tasks a breeze.

7. Google Dictionary Quick Scholar
 

Thanks to Google Dictionary, I no longer had to open multiple tabs to understand complex words. A simple double-click revealed definitions and even translations. It significantly streamlined my reading and enhanced vocabulary building.

8. StayFocusd Distraction Destroyer

Procrastination met its match with StayFocusd. This extension helped me maintain discipline by restricting access to my usual distractions. Its 'Nuclear Option' proved to be invaluable during final exam preparations.
